vPAC use-cases using ASE61850 Test Set / BNET – DistribuTECH 2026

This webinar will cover the major use cases that will be showcased in vPAC booth at DistribuTECH using ASE61850 Test Set and BNET. This includes following use cases

Steady state SV Simulation from four Process Interface Units (PIU) using predefined Exchanges
Simulation of Under Voltage Fault and measurement of GOOSE Trip Time
Simulation of Overcurrent / Differential Fault from two PIUs and measurement of GOOSE Trip Time
Simulation of Breakers in Bay and Bus bars

This will help attendees to understand the VPAC communication architecture, devices involved in the test setup and their high-level roles.

Release of ASE61850 Test Set 2.32 is scheduled during the last week of Jan 2026. Webinar will also cover the high-level features and fixes introduced in the new version and high-level features planned in next version 2.33 (May 2026).
