ASE61850 Exchanges (Automated No-Code): Simulate IEDs and run complex IEC 61850 workflows
By ASE Kalkitech MarCom Webinar Recording
In this webinar, we will introduce the Exchanges feature in ASE61850 Testset. Exchanges provide an easy drag-and-drop mechanism to configure simulation and test steps without writing code.
We will start by discussing the benefits of using Exchanges and how to use Exchanges to validate the expected arrivals of GOOSE and Reports. We will then show you how to use Exchanges to create two types of simulation and test steps:
– Server-side steps: These steps are used to simulate the behavior of IEDs in the network.
– Client-side steps: These steps are used to trigger tests, commands, and report enables.
This webinar is designed for engineers and developers who are responsible for testing and validating 61850 devices. By the end of the webinar, you will understand how to use Exchanges to script simulations and tests in the ASE61850 Testset.
What You Will Learn:
– How to use Exchanges to create simulation and test steps
– How to use Exchanges to validate the expected arrivals of GOOSE and Reports
